One of the greatest gifts granted to humanity is a day of rest. Jews are commanded in the Torah to ‘remember’ and ‘observe’ the Sabbath day, not the easiest of tasks in our busy secular world. NPLS provides regular Shabbat services, with Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday evenings where we welcome the Sabbath and Shabbat morning services.
As part of our Nippers@Northwood toddler group, we have an informal Shabbat service for toddlers at 11:00am every Friday.
